Steve and Alex skins having blinking eyes toggle

I know in the recent update for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Steve and Alex have blinking eyes, but I don't like that at all. I prefer the Steve and Alex skins not having blinking eyes because that's what Steve and Alex used to be like. If Steve and Alex have blinking eyes, then why don't any other mobs have blinking eyes? Can there be an option in the settings that toggle the blinking eyes on and off?

    There should be an option for each user to turn this on and off for themselves in the graphics settings. It's honestly really unsettling, almost in an Unanny Valley sort of way. Minecraft skins are static and were not made to blink. Steve and Alex were not meant to blink in-game.
