(Nether Update) Nightmares

-The Nightmare 

Lurking mysteriously around the Soul Sand Valley. Silence follows this four legged creature. With flames sprouting from its back it gallops around the valley. The  mysterious, fiery creature creeps around the corner. What is this mysterious creature you may ask. This creature is the horse of the Nether. With lava walking this makes travel in the Nether much easier. This horse needs to be fed warped fungi to be tamed.

  • [Default] Flamed Nightmare
  • Blue Flamed Nightmare
  • Purple Flamed Nightmare 
  • Green Flamed Nightmare

    I like the idea of a nether-themed transport mob, but I would like to suggest that Nightmares be able to run on lava. We need some kind of lava transport.

    Instead of a horse maybe more of a fantasy creature. It would be nice to have a tameable creature that doesn't resemble a creature from real life

    I have always loved Nightmare horses! They’re so cool. Now that we are getting a nether update, this is the perfect time for them to be introduced! I would also like to see unicorns, pegasi, and more magical horses. Back in the Mo’Creatures days I loved collecting these guys. Also, your description an variant ideas are wonderful! Although, I would prefer it to just be a black, fiery horse rather than a fiery wither skeleton horse. It would look too much like the skeleton horse and I think they would take away from each other. I think it would be best if it was just a black horse with different colored fire particles and textures depending on the variant. Regardless, I want this so badly! Voted!

    This was originally released before the Strider was put into play in the snapshot.

    Red Nightmares can walk on lava, Blue Nightmares are scare other creatures, Purple Nightmares can jump higher, Green Nightmares can run faster, and Black Nightmares are rare.

    I would just have skeleton horses have glowing eyes and flaming manes whenever they are in the Nether. There may be things you can feed them to make them look like this in the Overworld. It may give them enhanced abilities

    Skeleton Horses could be unharmed by fire and it could give them glowing eyes and a flaming mane as well as a speed boost.
