The nether Update seems to still be in early development, and I thought this could be a good time to suggest a new mob. Now that we’re getting bartering, it’s time to seal the deal with a wandering Barterer.
The Barterer itself would probably be a lesser pig humanoid, unlike the Piglins, or anything that comes to mind. It could attack Hoglins, or any other type of Beastly foe in the nether.
The Barterer would sport a gold nugget on its belt to ward off Piglins.
The Barterer could also give you some exclusive items:
Ravager Head - The head of an unfortunate Ravager who melee’d with the Barterer. It could serve as a trophy item or be used to make a Ravagerskin Rug with the use of carpets.
Sulking Boots - Boots crafted from an ancient terror. When worn, they give you Slowness IV, but leave a trail of Withering wherever you go. This withering trail would not be mineable and would disappear 30 seconds after being left behind.
Bottle O’ Rage - A bottle said to contain a Blaze. When thrown at a neutral or passive mob, it will instantly make them hostile towards players and other mobs except their own kind. A hit at parties, really.
