A new mob. Instead of the phantom, nightmare will be the new one (if chosen).
Appearence:
long sharp nails, black to yellow skin and wings similar to the ender dragon but smaller.
Spawn rates:
It depends on the difficulty. Easy has a chance of spawning 1. Normal guarantees 1 spawning at the time when the normal phantoms begin to spawn. Hard would would spawn 1 - 2 the same time period as normal.
Attacks:
once it sees you it will enter your mind fataly damaging you (5-6 hearts) Health: 35 hearts.
Drops:
1. nightmare membrane
2. nightmare scale
3. bones (varies in amount between 0-3)
4. nightmare head (very rare).
Recipes and uses:
1. wings that acts like elytra but lets you fly up as well.

2. Potion of darkness that gives resistence 4 (2 min) blindness (3 sec) strength (30 sec) and poison (5sec)
3. When wearing the head you can kill mobs instantly by looking at them but with the cost of 4 hearts (except the ender dragon). once the head is obtained you can trade it with a villiger for a quest book which will teach you how to obtain nighmare powers but the quest book is always different and the quests are HARD. Ofcourse this is optional you can keep the head and use it.
I left out some details like the potion recipe and nightmare powers for the creative members of mojang and Microsoft.
