When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Dispensers for fishing

The ability to dispense a fishing rod hook would be cool for automation. When a dispenser is activated with a fishing rod inside, the hook comes out. When it's activated again, the dispenser reels the hook in. This would capture fish or any other items if well-timed. It'd be possible to automate with a tripwire hook.

    Yes! I love the idea of being able to use this as an elevator, though actually fishing with it might be a to op because you could just set up 100 of these and get tons of enchanted books.

    Perhaps it could also wear out the fishing rod to prevent spamming.
