Option to remove climate zones

So, in 1.7 or something, new biomes where added into the game. But with that came a feature that bundled biomes together based on climate (hot, cold, moderate). In my my opinion, this made worlds less cool and exciting to live in and explore! I used to be excited to see what was just out of render-distance! Now i know what it is. Just more plains and forest. I miss spawing in a snow biome with a random jungle to my right and a desert to my left! (An example, not a specific need lol) if you could add in an option to remove the climate zones, that would be great!
