With the recent nether update, I noticed the soul sand valley seemed kind of bland, or empty. I think adding a semi-large creature could fill the biome. My thought was a soul salamander (not official name) this beast is 2 blocks tall, 2 blocks wide, and 4 blocks long. The soul salamander can dig small soul mounds. Ready to pounce on an unsuspecting player. His initial pounce attack will do 2 damage (1 heart) then, inflict Wither for 4 seconds. The rest of his attacks do 3 damage each. He will attack like any other hostile mob after pouncing, and when he finally calms down, he crawls back into his hole. Of course, there had to be great reward for killing one. Upon death, you get a salamander tail and salamander head. Using the two items, you can create a salamander queen summoner block. Upon collecting enough, you can spawn a salamander queen. Once slain, it'll spawn a salamander egg that you can nurture and birth into a soul salamander pet (same size as dog) that does either damage to enemies
