When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstring

Redstone on cobwebs. If a player would place Redstone on cobweb it would fuse to make Redstring making it able to send Redstone down or up any surface or no surface at all if the player chooses. It could mean more complicated or compact machines. If it  were to be directional, repeaters could be used or it could send signal in the way you're facing. Olso maybe a new kind of (red)stone for underwater use. I would think lapis dust or something in that direction?
