Pygmy Villagers

A pygmy villager is a villager that is significantly smaller than most other villagers. The pygmy villager is only 1.50 blocks tall. They settle within surface ravines and in dense forests. They are scared of players, and the guardian pygmies will fend off any unwanted visitor with a spear. But if you get too close, they too will run away from you. Pygmies will warm up to you if you leave them gifts, or bring them foods. They love cake, but any fish variant suffices just as well! When they are no longer afraid of you, they will act as villagers and you can trade with them. They trade primarily objects found where they've settled. Cave pygmies will bring you various ores, or loot found in mineshaft or dungeons. Jungle pygmies will trade bamboo, cocoa beans, and fish. Their settlements are much smaller than regular villages, and players will have to shift to get through doorways of the pygmies houses. They have large bonfires in their settlement to help keep them warm.
