Nether Mob: Withermite

We have three diemensions currently in Minecraft, and one (the nether) is getting an update! The end got an update a while ago, adding endermites as a mob, being the end equivalent of a silver fish. So where is the nether variant? Imagine a slender bug, scurrying the floors of the new soul sand valley, burring it’s self into the souls and, only to pop out like a bobbit worm and strike! Of course, the player would need a sign, so they can avoid this dangerous critter, so what if every 5 seconds, it created soul sand particle effects? I think this mob would make the player feel much more fear, that even walking isn’t safe here!
