I think this would be a good idea to add to minecraft: the oarfish. In real life, the oarfish is a long, eel-like fish that hunts on the depths of the sea. Ithink if we put a fantasy spin on this already existong fish, it could be a good mob. So theses mobs wpuld spawn in deep oceans and would be hostile. If the player is within 100 blocks of this mob, it will charge towards you with its mouth open until it hits you doing 5 damage. It will continue to swim in a straight line for a hundred blocks. It could possibly turn hostile again and go for another bite. It would have 20 health. Also, it is hostile to boats. It will go for a boat the same way it goes for a player, except it will turn around and swim 50 blocks in the other direction after biting.
Imagine this:
You are out in the middle of the ocean on your boat, when you see a dark shape on the water. You shrug it off as just another spuid of salmon. Then your boat breaks and you plunge into the cold water. You look around, trying to find the source of the attack, when you see a pair of jaws comong towards you. It deals five hearts of damage. As ir swims off you get as many hits ob it as you can before it swoms out of view. That is the kind of underwater jumpscare you would see in subnautica. This would add a feeling of terror to the oceans as you explore them, rather than just the drowneds.
