Nether Wasp

The Nether wasp would start out as always hostile if you get within two blocks of it. However if you have nether wart you can tame and they would then act like dogs that can fly. They also would not attack you if you had nether wart in your hand. They would not be able to leave the nether once tamed. They would also have bee hives and nest like normal bees. The hives would spawn in nether fortresses for They do not die from stinging you or other mobs. If untamed and they sting you, you would be given a short amount of the wither effect.   They lose the ability to give the wither effect when tamed.

    I personally wouldn't make them tamable, but the idea of Nether Wasps is very cool! Perhaps they could make it so that normal bees become Nether Wasps once they go through a Nether portal. The would be aggressive, I imagine and team up to kill players and piglins... I like the idea of having Nether variants of mobs, especially with bees and wasps.

    I personally love this idea, nether wasps would and new danger to the fortress, which it is severely lacking.

    I love this idea, I was about to post something similar:
    They would spawn in nether wastes biomes. Their main function would be to terraform nether wastes with their hive structures, they devour 4 netherracks to form one hive block.

    Every hive block is capable of hold 1-2 Wasps. They only turn hostile if you are 4 blocks near to their hive. They attack as bees but don't die in the process.

    I like this idea because wasps are bees from hell, and they would make the nether wastes more alive

    I was thinking as well on the concept of infected zombie piglin, a zombie piglin that's part of their hive mind.

    i would make them like bees but red, and much thouger, not dying from stinging, and the wither effect is nice. As for locatioj i would put them on a crimson forest, and create a blue warped wasp variant for warped forests.
