Stag Beetles

From a young age Stag beetles have always been my favorite Insect

How they will work?

Stag beetles should spawn in forest areas, The male variant should be Defensive, but the female should be Passive like in real life

10 Hearts,

When a stag beetle is flying it won't defend like if it was on the ground and you stepped on it.

when it bites it will deal half a heart, you can breed 2 stag beetles with Sticks Or Leaf Block, then it will spawn the Grub Mob, after a while it will turn into a stag beetle, but you can alternatively feed the grub to chickens and it will lay more eggs.

    That would definitely give forests even more life. How big would they be though? And what, if anything, would they drop?

    I like this! They should definitely be large, like all minecraft bugs. I imagine they would drop their horns, which could be used in pvp as a high knockback, but low durability, item. It could also have some effect in potions, though I'm not sure what. They look like the kind of thing that would make cool magics.

    I like this idea. After all, MOJANG needs to add more small details to our everyday biomes. These would a great addition to the Wild Update. I have a feeling they will be like llamas, neutral until provoked.
