Floating trees look bad. If players leave a tree floating for more that 3 in-game days it should morph into something like a Gast, but with the texture of the tree it spawned from, and with tentacles of vines. This creature would float at height and leave a trail of saplings of its tree type planted below. While non-combative, the Floating Tree would cause all saplings to immediately become trees whenever a character steps on them, sending them flying (like Iron Golems do). This would make them dangerous, but also allow characters a chance to reach the Foating Tree: they could place a sapling strategically, and be thrown at the foe. The Foating Tree can only be killed with fire or axes, and if left alive will rise and pause in mid air, to spawn a floating island. They drop only saplings and a single log when killed. These mobs would prevent people leaving trees floating, would seed landscapes with forests should the land be de-forested, and justify floating islands.
