This could be a texture pack that could be in the marketplace that allows people to alter any specific texture or name to whatever you want. For example, i could recolor bread with green and white spots and rename it moldy bread. This may work like, or similar to the following. You buy a blank canvas resource pack from the marketplace that would look completely like the normal vanilla recource pack when applied. But when you apply it, an interface would appear that would look like the creative menu. But when you pick up an item it takes you to another interface that has a 16 by 16 texture grid, a color wheel, and a few options on the bottom. You chose your colors and start making a new texture for the block you chose. The options would be remove texture, add cycle stage (like how prismarine changes), remove cycle stage, cycle stage change speed, cancel, and save.

You could buy as many of these recource packs as you like for more oportunities, unlike other items on the marketplace
