The player using this feature could set the amount of layers using “/bossbar set <id> layers add <color>”, the maximum number of layers you can have in one bar is 7, as that’s the amount of colors you can choose from (blue, green, pink, purple, red, white, yellow). If you go over, or if you try to have a layer be the same color as another in the same bar, then it will output an error saying something like “Another layer is already using this color!”
The maximum value would carry along all layers, and the maximum value of layer 1 is the minimum value of layer 2. If the max is 20, there are 2 layers, the value is set to 30, layer 1 is red, and layer 2 is green, then it would look like half of a green bar overtop of a filled red bar.
The background of the bar would be the “empty” version of layer 1, the bottom layer.
This could be useful for multi-phase bosses, measuring absorption hearts, and more.
