Additions to the /locate command

The /locate command should give you the location of more than just structures, such as; players, piles of loot players have dropped, caves that aren't just 10 blocks long with no ores immediately visible, etc.

    /locate the nearest possible monster spawn area (ignoring daylight and the player's proximity). This would have two functions: 1. make it easier to prevent monsters from spawning in an area 2. locate nearby dark caves.

    I would like to be able to locate the dungeon structure

    You should be able to locate itens and tagged itens, like /locate [type=item] {item:{tag: {display:{Name: "Spear"}}}} if your item is named spear, or just /locate item: minecraft:diamond_sword

    And this should be added to bedrock too

    I would like to be able to locate the dungeon and the desert well.
