When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

    Would be interesting to see the redstone community making even more compact contraptions with something like this!

    I was thinking of this as well, but your recipe sounds too expensive. What I would suggest is:

    [_][X][_]

    [X][Y][X]

    [_][X][_]

    The symbols represent:

    [_] = blank space

    [X] = redstone dust

    [Y] = iron ingot

    The reason I believe this is what it should be is because all it's doing is acting as a couple of wires. To separate the one bit of redstone dust from another, wrapping one of the redstone wires with an iron ingot should be just enough to "realistically" prevent the redstone signals from interfering with each other.

    Updated the crafting recipe to the one that Syprene commented. I think it’s much better now imo. It would definitely be much more appealing to those in survival who want more of a variety to experiment with Redstone, and don’t have to use many expensive materials. Thx for the suggestion :D

    I was also thinking about it but implementing the new items from update 1.17. So, you could replace iron with copper or include it in the recipe mentioned and this new redstone component would be a block capable of crossing circuits in 3 dimensions.
