A Sword-billed hummingbird would attack mobs (like protecting player?), by flying very quick straight into an enemy.

They should spawn in jungle and flower forest biomes and accelerate the growth of crops like bees. They should also be more attracted to red flowers than other colors, like in real life.

You could also craft sugar water to tame and breed them with.

Maybe you can tame them with nectar gained from right-clicking flowers with empty glass bottles.

Hummingbirds don't seem super useful, but they could be! Maybe when killed, they could drop a music disc. And you could feed them honey to make them breed.

Hummingbirds would be so cute! They could have their own spawn egg and biome variations!
