Unique tool and block animations

In Minecraft the hitting or mining animation if very boring why not add unique animations for weapons or tools or even blocks that are interacting with the tool examples axes can have a choking animation and the wood on the tree could have a line across the bottom pickaxes could be more heavy weighted and rock pieces could chip off as the prayer mines in coal could have small sparks shovels could have a shoveling animation and the block have a slower animations and swords could have multiple slashing and swinging animations.

    this would liven up the game a little, but I doubt it'd get added (sorry :/) Minecraft is a simple game, its style is simple, you dont play the game for its amazing graphics. Adding new animations to tools wouldnt be too hard to make, but there are mods and texture packs that already do that. Your idea would make the game  alot more realistic, but that isnt what minecraft is going for. Also adding specific animations and effects for different blocks is a whole new workload.
