Sand Serpents:
S.Serpents are long pale yellow/red (Depends on what biome they spawn in. red=red desert/badlands. Pale yellow =desert.) snake-like creatures with dragon heads. They have the ability to swim through sand and they can also jump out of the sand. They are hostile and if they see/hear the player within 30-blocks (If the player is within a 30 block radius of a S.Serpent, a creepy heartbeat sound will play and the player will have to be mindful to the sounds they make.) Desert themed music will start playing and the S.Serpent will attack unless if the player can escape its home biome. The S.Serpents attacks include jumping out of the sand and trying to hit the player while doing so, biting the player, and dragging the player through the sand. If the player kills it, it can drop 2-5 serpent scales and very rarely, The Horn of The Sand Shifter. The serpent scales will can be crafted into armour a little less powerful than the diamond equivalent. The Horn of The Sand Shifter is a special item that can "friend" the species. If you lowered the S.Serpents HP to 5% or less and your health is half gone or more then the serpent might consider mercy. Mercy is when the sand serpent sorrounds you and faces its head to the players front side. Normally sand serpents will just give you a rare item as a gift but if taming feature gets requested;

Then mercy might act different.
