Why?
Pillagers are a great addition to Minecraft, they provide an interesting backstory and lore you could imagine. The only reasons why I feel like there should be more of them is because there are rare enough to realize you don’t see them often enough. Having more of these baddies would explain a more complex story and fill Minecraft more with a sense of exploration and combat.
Description
Pillager Dungeons would be found underground, and would be filled with Pillagers and its other counterparts (Illagers, Evokers, Witches, ect.). They would be built similar to Strongholds, but with a wider range different rooms to explore.
Inside you would find different Pillagers and others to fight, alongside freeing the captured Iron Golems and captive villagers. Along the way, you would find a variety of treasures scattered throughout the dungeon.
These dungeons would give off a story saying that Pillagers have captured villagers and is being held captive forced to mine for treasures.
How It Would Effect The Game
Spelunking in caves is a classic when it comes to Minecraft, but when you dig in to it, there’s not really not much you can do except mine and find Strongholds. My opinion is this would give a sense of adventure and heroism, defeating enemy’s, freeing captives, and getting bountiful amounts of loot from the adventure.
This wouldn’t be an easy task though...
