Hello, this is Some Animal- I'm here to make your gameplay and combat more unique with mobs that change their environment and force you to adapt to defeat them!
The Blight: The Blight is a mob that attacks food sources. It appears as a small prism with a cube having a mouth. The texture of the Blight would resemble dirt in different colors.
Behavior: Blights will spawn in caves, and move very fast. Damaging a Blight with a melee attack will give you nausea and food poisoning. It can pass through fences and wooden doors to find a farm. It will stand on the same block as a farm animal or crop for the duration of its decay value. After which, the crop or animal will turn black and disappear while the Blight splits into two identical Blights.
Characteristics:Blights will have 1 of 16 textures corresponding to the 16 dyes. When two Blights pass each other, similarly to dyes, their texture mixes, making both of these Blights become the same texture.
Blights will Spawn with a randomized decay tic between 128-256 for every crop and farm animal, excluding netherwart, mooshrooms, trees, and mushrooms. If a Blight decays a certain crop, it will lose 4 tics on that crop when it splits, but will gain 1 tic on every other value.
How to defeat: If you mix dyes with water in a cauldron, and pick it up in a splash water bottle (which will gain a colored tag), finding the right mix of dyes, which match their textures, will insta-kill a Blight.
