Fossils and Archaeologist villagers

A new profession for villagers in which they trade emeralds etc for FOSSILS, which would be found in gravel, I think this would make gravel more likeable and more used. You would get different types of fossils in different biomes and more valuable one in lower levels

    Now that we are getting archaeology in Minecraft, this is a great idea. Maybe they could also sell brushes?

    I'd like it more if the villager rewarded you for displaying your finds in certain places. That way, the fossils aren't gone. Instead, they get shared with the world. I had originally thought of a curator idea for a different npc I will likely never post, but I guess it could possibly work for a villager. Curators would reward you for finding unusual materials from other dimensions (and now from archeological and fossil digs), as well as for adding to museum exhibits (I wanted a nether exhibit where players would build an incomplete altar, an item frame to display a nether star in, a place to build a small obsidian pillar with and end crystal on top, odd quests like that). In addition, they would sell uncraftable bobbles like storm globes to the player, ideally at ridiculous prices. Kind of a quirky idea, and the fantasy mob is one I may never post about, but it was fun coming up with it.
