I think this would be such a great edition to the game. i want to stop hearing my nether portal constantly, but if i turn off the blocks sound, it turns off all the sounds that come from blocks when i just want to mute the portal. maybe there could just be a sub-section next to each sound slider in the sounds menu.

I would definitely love to see more control over the sounds.  I play with headphones and I have to keep all volumes down between 1 & 15 percent.  There are still ear drum busting sounds despite my volume settings.  I extend this further by using resource packs that further lower the volumes of many things but it is still not enough.

I like to stream while playing and this is also annoying to my viewers.

Submenu for every sound file in game with both a mute toggle and volume adjustment would be a tremendous addition to the game and extremely well received.

i have pyrophobia and the sounds is more of a trigger than the look. im useless in the nether since i have various mental problems and the sound causes my hands to start twitching and i cant stop shaking. but i mute blocks and cant hear the sounds that i want to hear. i want to mute the stupid crackly red things all over the ground
