This is a huge problem mainly on the famous server 2b2t, the server is so old that it lags a lot. it needs to handle a 1tb map with 200 players with some of them activating lag machines.
How it is going to work:
1.- you are connected to a server (ex.: hostname.net)
2.- you lost connection to the server (0.5s to 5 sec since last packet send from server)
3.- theres a 1 minute countdown
4a.- if you restablish the connection with the server again, you still on the server (same place, no changes)
4b.- if the countdown reached 0 you are going to be disconected.
i know this is already a thing but it only lasts 10 seconds, games like tf2 have countdowns that lasts at least 30 seconds.
