MCPE text/messages are so big!

MCPE text/messages are so big! It takes up 40% of the screen and there are no settings To adjust the size like there are on MCPC. It is really annoying. Also, the ratio of the jump/move/crouch buttons to the hot bar is totally uncomfortable and the jump/move/crouch buttons are so small. When I try to make it bigger by adjusting the button size, it makes the hot bar fill up 30% of my screen. I know this isn’t a problem for some people but for us normal iPad users, it is really peeving. Please add more detailed button size settings so all of us can play more comfortably. Thank you.
