Hello, this is Some Animal- I'm here to make your gameplay and combat more unique with mobs that change their environment and force you to adapt to defeat them!
What it does: This Spider variant will spawn in Roofed Forests naturally, crawling through the roof of the forest ominously, they will drop to the ground, taking no fall damage. At a distance of 16 blocks, they will turn their bulbous rear end to you, and begin launching projectiles at you with increasing accuracy as time goes on. Where the projectiles land, a Cobweb will be placed. If the projectile hits you, it will place a cobweb there as well as damage you slightly less than an arrow of that of a regular skeleton. They will not attempt to flee you until you are within 4 blocks, and will not attempt to move closer until you are 20 blocks away. They are hostile to all hostile mobs, players, wolves and villagers.
How it looks: It stands at a height of 1.5 blocks, and is 1.5 blocks in diameter. It has 12 hearts of health. It has red eyes and is a brown-gray colour. Though rarely spawning is an albino version that has a white-grey coat. Its legs are long and double jointed, unlike current spiders.
Drops: 0-1 Silk, 1-4 String, 0-1 Spider Eyes.
The Albino Spider: The albino spider acts the exact same as the regular version- except when it is fed Silk, after which, it becomes neutral to all players present within a 20 block radius, all wolves and all villagers.
