Bedrock Edition Subtitle

Bedrock Edition not having a subtitle can be confusing for some people. we have Minecraft Java Edition and just Minecraft? just add the subtitle please. It looks so much nicer.

    Was looking into this feature today and saw the players have been requesting it since at least 2019. Wanted to chime in and say this is still very much wanted 5 years later in 2024. I recently started playing again after not playing for years, and a lot more things rely on sound. My hearing isn’t what it use to be. Subtitled would be so helpful in areas where sound is critical to survival.

    I'm Deaf and play with my children (CODA).
    I usually use the Bedrock version, but I happened to have the opportunity to use the Java version, and I was very impressed with the convenience of the subtitle function.

    This subtitle feature is absolutely essential in bedrock version as well.

    Please make subtitles a priority.

    agreed i like to not have my sound on when i play and its annoying to always die to mobs cus i like it off and dont know when there nearby if i dont see them

    i thought you meant a text line/ subtitles in game that would mention what is happening
