getting skeleton horse more health with golden apples

In regular minecraft a skeleton horse is a very rare thing to find and can do many thing. ex) ridible under water, comes with a saddle. but it has some down sides. ex) no armor slot, low stats. Although there is a way to fix this. If you make it so if you feed a skeleton horse a golden apple you give it absorption hearts, if you feed it an enchanted golden apple it gives it permanent. I personally don't think you should put a limit on how many enchanted golden apples you put on because it makes a good end game goal.
