Description: The Village is a city-builder style strategy-manager type of game. The player has to protect and develop their village in the universe of Minecraft.
Gameplay: When starting a new world the player can choose the biome they want to play in. This affects the look of villagers and village buildings, and of course the weather and the environment.
As the game progresses the player can build more buildings in exchange for emeralds and resources. Emeralds can be earned from trading, mining and general development. There is a switch on the side of the screen to choose which layer the player wants to interact with (village/mine).
Events: The first one is the cycle between day and night. When night starts villagers go home and sleep. During the night monsters will spawn outside the village. Zombie sieges can also happen at midnight and raids can start as well - all three of them require iron golems to be dealt with. Another event is the weather cycle. During the rain (or snow if in a snowy biome) villagers also run home. Sometimes a wandering trader will arrive from a random direction. It will offer several trades for the player.
Endgame: Just like Minecraft, The Village doesn't really have an end. After the village has reached full size the player can continue to manage and protect it.
