Make an apt repo for Minecraft JE Launcher

In contrast to the update systems on other platforms (The two big guys), .deb systems still require manual downloading even when other software on .deb systems uses apt to update themselves. Therefore, I propose constructing an APT repository to facilitate updating of the Java Edition Launcher.

  I came here to post this exact same thing! It's a pain to have to manually reinstall every time there's an updated MC launcher, when it's just a .deb that could be easily placed in a repository so it would be automatically updated by my OS.

  This issue is a bit hard to find in the search, so I’ll add some searchable terms.

   

  If Mojang adds a PPA, users using Debian, Ubuntu, or other Debian based Linux distros will be able update Minecraft launcher along with system updates using apt-get. Having to manually download updates is considered cumbersome by most of these users.

   

  This concept isn’t new to Microsoft. They use this already to distribute various other software such as Visual Studio Code and Skype. It would be great if Minecraft is up next. :)
