Feeding Sheep to Regrow Wool

While I was farming sheep for wool, I had the idea to try trimming some Tall Grass and feeding it to them to see if it would do anything. To my disappointment, no, it didn't -- in fact, they didn't even eat it.

I sense an opportunity here, though.

My suggestion is that Tall Grass, cut off with Shears and used on a Sheep like food, would act like bonemeal in that it gives the sheep a chance of regrowing its wool without waiting for its eating animation.

If a sheep has been shorn for a long time (because those punks love to run around naked it seems) it could possibly even be attracted to the held grass, like wheat.

    they don't even grow back wool if you feed them wheat, I understand that Mojang probably want you to wait for wool but sheep not growing wool after being fed wheat just makes the game feel incoherent
