Raids are too “avoidable”, so there should be a way raids can happen on their own. I found an idea: The Joy System. This can be used for the chance a new illager, the Omen will spawn and go into a village. If the village is 50 Joy or below, an Omen might go in and destroy 3 villagers. After this occurs, the iron golem will slay it and then a chat message will say “The curse of the omen is putting a bad feeling in your spine...”. After 20 in game minutes pass, a raid has been triggered. The raid won’t always occur, depending on the joy level.
Ways to change Joy: Winning a raid: +5 Joy. Damage occurring to a villager: -1 Joy. Death occurring to a villager: -10 Joy. Using a bubble wand with baby villagers: +2 Joy. Player kills an Illager: +1 Joy. Player kills a Pillager: +4 Joy. Omen kills a player: -10 Joy. Ravager kills a player: -10 Joy. Fireworks: +10 Joy. Pillager victory in a nearby village: -15 Joy.
