Wraiths/Spectral items

A snow wraith spawns very rarely in snow biomes, but has significantly increased spawn rate during blizzards. These mobs can levitate up to five blocks in the air when threatened. These mobs behave somewhat like a ghost in that the shoot big glowing orbs of ice at your face similar to a ghost. When one of those hits the ground, it creates a slight crater lined with ice. Unlike a ghost ball, however, they cannot be hit back. If you hit them mid-air, then they drop a block of blue ice and disappear. When you kill one, you get 1-3 ice shards. See ice shards in items

Spectral shards are dropped from ice wraiths during the blizzard event in the snow biomes. If you combine 6 of these in a crafting table, you get Spectral ore. This can be smelted into Spectral ingots, but it requires a special furnace found in the Ice Palace. Spectral ingots can be used to craft a spectral Sword, witch deals slowness to players hit by it. You can also make the rest of the tools with it. When crafting an arrow, if you replace the top with A spectral ingot, then it slows mobs on impact.
