(Java Parity) Custom banners on shields

I think it would be pretty cool if you could place a custom made manner onto a shield so that shields could be easily incorporated into minigames and roleplays as well an just giving you something new to do with banners

    Answer: "Yes. We want both versions of the game to have so-called "parity" when it comes to gameplay features. I can't say really when though, but ever is a very long time, so I feel safe."

    They do need to add this feature on the bedrock edition Java has the option to add custom banners on shields it’s time for the Bedrock edition to have the same feature added

    Pocket edition has banners, but you can't put them on shields, I would like to have this feature implemented.

    I made an awesome Banner it would be cool to put on my shield. 

    I hope they add it soon.

    This should be titled "(Java Parity) Custom Banners on Shields" because you can do this in Java Edition but yes I totally agree I would love to see this feature added to Bedrock Edition and Console Editions.

    I want this to be a thing on pocket edition. I made an awesome pokeball banner and I wanted to put it on my shield but I can't. :(

    your able to do it in java edition, so why not have it a main stay.

    That's very good idea for bedrock edition because custom banner on shield will make it looks better and that feature can make banner more useful.

    I role play a lot with my brothers, making own kingdoms, building all kinds of villages. Would be nice to represent your kingdom in an all out war.

    I've been waiting for this feature for so long and I'm really disappointed that it hasn't even been announced in the new beta. Why can't they just add it already, what's the problem?!
