Turn off bad omen effect animation

Watching the little swirls follow me is driving me nuts to the point that I just leave my laptop until the effect is gone, and it lasts for eons.  When will my suffering end?  I play on bedrock, and as far as I can tell, I have no way to turn this animation off.  It would be lovely if there was just the little pillager icon, but as it is, it feels equivalent to a child insistently waving their hand in my face trying to get my attention.

I've heard a few other people online echo my frustration with this, and it would be lovely if there was something we could do, besides never killing any pillagers.  It honestly feels a bit like a punishment for playing the game.

    I agree, this is completely stupid, They need to either give us a way to kill these bubble that a moron came up with, or make them things non hostile.

    Same bro im tired of having to look for a cow all the time because these swirls piss me off. Plus the damn things last forever
