For years, I played solely on Minecraft PE on my father's old iPhone 3G, and actually viewed Java as the 'dirty' version of the game. However, when cross-play was in fact added between Pocket and Windows 10, I was intrigued, but to say the least, was disgusted by the fact that I would have to buy the game again practically on my laptop. It was at this point that I switched over to Java when I discovered that you bought the account, and then could use it anywhere. I think that because Bedrock is so integrated with Xbox Live accounts, the purchase of the game should be tied to the account as opposed to the copy you buy; so, instead of a $6.99 app, it is a free download, maybe not unlike Pocket Lite (yes, I remember playing it... I know I'm old), but to gain full functionality of the game, like creative mode, and full survival, you need to purchase the game. 'But Doc, how is it sup'osed to be priced??' Glad you asked, Steve! While I think that $27 for a mobile game is a bit much, Maybe a more reasonably priced $15-$20 game that includes the ability to play on any device with Bedrock seems right... I dunno, what do y'all think?
Please let me know and sincerely,
'Just crazy old' Doc
