I've been using the subtitles function in Minecraft ever since I found out about it, and I've always adored it. However, with the new improvements to accessibility in v1.14, I thought I might as well list a few of my tiny 'pet' peeves with the function: name tags and taming.
When your cat called Fluffy meows, the subtitles simply say 'Cat meows'. I think it would be much better to have the subtitles say '[name] [sound]' rather than '[entity] [sound]' when the entity has been named with a name tag. So for example, a cow named Bettie mooing would trigger a subtitle saying 'Bettie moos', but an unnamed wolf would just trigger one that says 'Wolf pants'.
Another addition could be that all tamed pets could have either 'Your' or '[playername]'s' in front of their entity name. 'Your parrot talks' or 'Jeff's parrot talks' if they aren't named, and 'Your parrot Polly talks' or 'Jeff's parrot Polly talks' when they are.
If all of this is impossible, I'd at least like to see 'wolf' change to 'dog' in the subtitles when it's been tamed. Not a massive change, but would help my momentary confusion a ton.
I think these changes would make things a lot easier in the game for me and other people who rely on the subtitles, and it would make gameplay much more enjoyable without the constant questioning of 'Was that a random wolf or did I accidentally forget to make Cookie sit?' when we go adventuring. Thank you!
