Currently, as of 13, April 2019, the dimensions in Minecraft are the overworld, nether, and the end. Over the years the overworld has received a major of new content; this left the other dimensions to become dull in comparison. The end received an "expansion" with the end islands. It was a great addition but it remains bland. The end island is endless stretches of endstone and chorus plants with the occasional end city sprinkled in. There is a similar fault in the nether, nothing but netherrack and quartz. Before any new dimension is added, this empty space must be filled content. When I, along with the community, talk about our trips to other dimensions, the last thing we want to for a majority of that adventure being labeled as "just walking". From one journey, I, along with the community, would like several tales of "I found...", "I fight...", "I nearly die to...".
My first experience with the nether is unforgettable. My cousin and I were playing pocket-edition. We had discovered an item called the "Nether Reactor Core" so we crafted it and placed it. Interacting with it showed something like "Incorrect Pattern" so we went on youtube to find this pattern. We didn't watch the video the whole way through. We wanted to experienced whatever came next first-hand. We activated the reactor; it glowed red. Pigman spawned, grunting and ready to kill us. We were screaming as you fought for our lives. My point is if any content is added to existing or new dimensions, we should unforgettable experiences with that content.
Once the existing dimensions are refined, new dimensions could be considered but how should they be added. The end should always remain as "the final chapter" so content should be added to the climax. First a minor rework to reaching the end. The product of an enderpearl + blaze powder is no longer called eyes of ender. Instead, it's renamed to Eyes of Magma and retextured with a red palette. Every dimension has a material which, once added to enderpearls, creates an ender of ender but its design is themed with that dimension. For example, an icy dimension has the eye of frost. Doing this makes every dimension equally useful since these eyes act identically to the existing ones.
