When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Automatic Campfire with Dispenser/Dropper

I always believed that Minecraft can be played any way you want and that you can do incredible things with redstone. That's why I was surprised when I found out that you can move an entire house with redstone but can't even have a Dropper/Dispenser cook a piece of steak using a campfire. I am very picky and only like my steak cooked by machines. Thank you very much for your time.

    If you like it cooked by machines then wouldn't you want it to be efficiently made through the smoker instead? I get that it looks cool to have it on an actual fire, but that's just inefficient and the clutter of droppers and hoppers wouldn't even allow you to appreciate the visual display. Just, food for thought.

    And I agree, making campfires automatable would effectively make smokers redundant. Redstone mechanisms almost always have a material cost to keep them running. Be that an AFK player, or fuel.

    Just connect a hopper to the top of a furnace/smoker with another hopper on the bottom connected to a chest. When you put the raw meat in the top hopper it will be put into the furnace/smoker and when it is cooked it will be pulled by the bottom hopper into the chest.

    I would like this, as well. However, if you get an automatic bamboo farm to automatically go into a super smelter, you have infinite fuel, which would be the appeal of campfires. Also, if you make the super smelter out of smokers, it’s so much faster than campfires would ever be.

    Just make an automatic bamboo farm. Bamboo is fuel, and can be automatically farmed very easily, unlike coal or other fuel sources.

    Just make it go straight from the farm to the smelter, and have your food go in via a chest.

    If the campfire can be like a furnace, just use a funnel, or you can use launchers and throwers to automatically cook food

    The problem with a bamboo farm is it can be laggy with so many items, and you need ALOT of bamboo, which, with the removal of 0-ticking, is very hard to produce a consistent output of bamboo.

    If i can build this, imagine what real builders can make! (if you haven't noticed, i am no builder).

    Imagine your food cooking in massive long halls like this.
