Illusioner Ambush

Illusioners have been in the game but unused for nearly 2 years now, and they are a really interesting mob. With 1.14 bringing Wandering Traders, Illusioners could possibly be disguised as Traders, and when you try to trade with them, attack them, or get too close, they'll throw off their disguise as reveal themselves as Illusioners, and will attack. They are already a rogue-ish, sneaky mob, so this would fit perfectly for them.

    This would have to be java exclusive btw if this did become a thing (becaue illusioners are only on java). But why just illusioners? What if we made illusioners with crossbows?

    Yes yes yes and the llamas would become pillagers and you must add in PE

    The Illusioner could also drop a totem of keep inventory.

    Maybe they could be sneaking behind the village bell so if you ring or break it you get a random chance that he spawns.

    If they are added to raids (and they should btw) and the village bell isn't "infiltrated" yet, one of the raids Illusioners can hide in it.
