Add functionality for keys 1-9 in output slots of block interfaces

When crafting, the crafted tool or block cannot be hot-keyed into the hot bar using numbers 1-9 if there is an item that slot. If this functionality was added, players wouldn't have to take he extra second to place the crafted item in their inventory and then hot-key it. This would be especially useful to players who craft their first set of tools.

Of course, you can't place blocks in the output slots of crafting tables and furnaces etc., so using the hot-keys to swap the blocks doesn't make sense. However, instead of swapping the items, the hotbar item could be programmed to simply move to the inventory. (If the inventory is full, then the item would be dropped)

The inability to hot-key outputted items into a hotbar slot with an item in it applies to any block with an output slot such as:
- Crafting table
- Furnace
- Blast furnace
- Smoker
- Anvil
- Loom
- Stonecutter
- Cartography table
- Grindstone

    This seems like such a small and straightforward change that amounts to a great quality of life update!  I remember this functionality back in the day, but now Bedrock, it just doesn't work.  And thanks to OP for explaining it so well!

    I agree. I also believe that they should and this to the bedrock edition for window 10 players, since they are added so much Java parity. The ability to organized your hotbar/inventory would be and nice quality of life feature and would make oraganizing your inventory so much quicker and easy especially for pvp players.

    yes
