When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Does it not detect when a melon or pumpkin grows into a spot? I know that the observers can detect the vine change when one is grown. To be more specific, when a melon or pumpkin grows the vine changes position to attach to the melon or pumpkin and the observer can detect that change

Ule Tir, I think TheOther51 means it does not detect when the actual stem changes textures when the pumpkin/melon is produced. If this was fixed, then automatic pumpkin/melon farms will be smaller, more efficient, and make the designs interchangeable between Java and Bedrock. If this doesn't get fixed in Bedrock 1.15, I don't know what to do!
