Hi Mojang, I'm having a lot of fun with the new addition of the snapshots. And I was so exited for 19w11a but reading the Minecraft.net list of changes, I was quite bummed out by the fact that villagers can restock just 2 times a day so I was thinking that meaby this is the way that I would like the restock function to work.
the thing is that I think the restock is bringing down the long time players like if they want to farm emeralds
my idea is the next one: there are 3 levels of villager per name example that the novice I, novice II and novice III can only restock once a day but it takes 10 trades to level them up but the master I, master II and master III can restock up to 5 times a day but it takes dem 80 trades to level them up.
and when you get to the point where your master III has reached maximum level It will become a mega master {or something like that} and that mega master can level up infinitely.
the thing is the mega master I to level it up to mega master II you have to trade him 100 times and II to III like 125 times
and III to IV you will have to trade with him 140 times so is very difficult to have a villager restocking infinitely but it is possible
and if u add the offer-demand thing and discounts by the village reputation you have a emerald farming villager that has taken you 200 hours to upgrade with reasonable prices and make it that the discount can go higher than 15 percent because if u have a blacksmith and you trade with him so much at the end the iron trade will be 1 iron --- 1 emerald and I don't think that is fair
so a recap
1 a kind of overpowered villager that has taken a lot of time to get
2 offer demand thing
3 villager reputation discounts not higher than 15 percent
4 a lot of emerald
and that's how you can fix the villager trades system and please the technical and patient community
