    Yeah thought it was bug until I realized Bedrock is quite outdated

    How is this not even under review? It should already be in the game! With that said, there's not even a despawn algorithm in place so I guess it's not really that surprising.

    This will probably annoy a lot of ps4 players. Ps4 edition uses the quick regen system like Java.

    I think this is a very good idea, currently the regeneration on bedrock is not that good.

    As a Java player, the fast regeneration is not that satisfying, annoying, and very unreliable. It also makes no sense intuitively, running and jumping around makes you heal faster??? Also bedrock players have way better armor, but us Java players probably aren't asking for the game to be even more overpowered. Because combat is going to be revamped for both platforms, a compromise is needed, but the confusing quadratic aspect of java regeneration needs to be removed!

    I think this would be too overpowered in PVP since you can continuously eat to regenerate health which makes health and regen potions useless. I think Bedrock should have slightly faster regen healing half a heart every 3 seconds.

    this is called suturation and it is not overpowered. you have to eat golden carrots for it to go as fast as in the youtube videos

    Skylarfreshfros Steak, porkchops, and other high saturation foods restore health at almost the same rate. Man, meat is so hard to obtain in Minecraft. FYI I actually play the game.

    For those who wondered why it isn't under review it is surely because mojang is already working on a new hunger system, also the fast regeneration system is quite controversial (amongst many 1.9 features).

    Its really is annoying especially if youre a mobile player, with limited maneuverability you just doesn't have alot of time to react.

    Pretty sure that's a combat related feature (including PvE) so it will not be introduced until the new combat is.

    A lot of people are taking this towards like servers and pvp. I think this would do amazing for when I’m just playing Minecraft itself. Yanno just fighting mobs and building with my friends, not doing things that aren’t technically Minecraft but are just mini games in Minecraft. With that being said, being able to heal hearts way quicker would help survival.

    They should probably make it faster but not as fast as it is on bedrock. I mean, sure, when fighting the wither, the half-a heart every three seconds regeneration of very pants. But, making it as fast as Java will break the challenges of the bedrock dragon and wither. They need some kind of rebalance what the tegen is not as fast as Java but still faster than the bedrock one.

    Actually the regen system on Java isn’t what they intended saturation to be so bedrock is the correct regen system.

    i think it's because whenever the saturation is maxed, it's used to speed up regeneration. This means in Java, whenever you take damage or have low health, your hunger bar is never maxed. This is different in Bedrock while you can have half a heart while the hunger and saturation are maxed.

    This should be changed to "(Java Parity) Java Saturation Effects on health" or something similar because the saturation bar "a hidden bar on java" is what affects how fast you regenerate.

    Java regeneration is fast but bedrock regeneration very slow
