New Mobs With Old AI

Back in beta mobs like zombies pathed straight toward the player, and this could be exploited in order to have them fall into pits. This was fun for players to do, and as  CTM map maker, i wish to make this possible for my players to do again. If mojang could add variants to zombies and other mobs with the old AI (or an option in a mobs nbt to change its AI to older pathing) it would let map makers create scenarios where players could take advantage of pits and other environmental hazards that they cannot use anymore due to the mobs pathing around them. It would make sense if they did add new monsters, for the monsters to be distinct like having their own texture to tell them apart, so thats why im suggesting they be new mobs rather than an option in the nbt data of every mob. A simple "stupid zombie" would be great to add to maps.

    I like this idea, although I think it would work better as a Mod for Minecraft, not an option, but i do remember the old days of Minecraft when the mobs used to jump around the corners of the blocks. It used to make me crack up. I loved the way zombies, creepers etc, came after you. They were a little stupid, but also not at the same time. I play the alpha and beta versions just to remember the old days. I remember when I got Minecraft for Xbox 360, and remember the old world gen, and no sprinting, Good old childhood days! :)

    the old mob ai might have got removed in TU12 on Xbox 360 and i think you can find that somewhere to replicate it!
