axis reset option

I have been playing minecraft for a very long time one issue I always had was when an update came out if it contained new things to generate i.e. (villages, emerald) I was unable to play that content unless I made a new world that has never been fun for me I would love if we could get the option to reset chunks/certain axis levels due to the village and pillage update when it comes out my friend will have to reset the realm to get the new content I would like this to be added for the long time fans of the game it would make most of the other things easier to add like mods and such
