When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstone Contradictor (New Block)

This block would have a variety of uses, all related to signal, but in an inverse way. 

Right-clicking will change state (Inverse, Side, and Side Inverse). What will these states do if you may ask? Well, here they are.

"Inverse" Abilities:

-When inputting a power level of 15, 0 power comes out. The same goes for 14 and 1, 13 and 2, and so on. (shortening long lines of redstone by decreasing pulse length)

-Any power level other than zero can be input to a repeater

 

"Side" Abilities:

-If both sides have equal power levels, the front and back will give off a 15 power level.

-If both do not match each other's power, the left sides power will go forward from the direction placed, and the right will go back.

 

"Side Inverse"

-Does the exact inverse of the side, giving 0 when both are the same and left now goes backward and right goes forward.

    You are describing the exact behavior of the side input of a regular comparator in subtraction mode with a max filled container (barrel, furnace, end portal frame with eye...) on the rear input.

    As for the directional capabilities, this can already be designed fairly easily with redstone as it currently is.
