Redstone Router

The Redstone Router allows two redstone lines to cross over the same block without interference. By default the left and right are connected and the front and back are connected. This allows circuits to become much smaller as lines can cross the same space, while remaining disconnected.

To make things interesting, the component has 3 modes. Right clicking the block will cycle between the lines turning left, turning right or going forwards and crossing over. Powering the component through the block underneath will also cycle these modes. Given one input, the component can cycle between 1 of 3 outputs.

That's my suggestion for a little component to miniaturize redstone and simplify branching.
